Seven Days Sea Tour in Gocek: Islands, Coast and Bays

In this tour, we visit the magnificent islands and bays of Göcek in the Gulf of Fethiye. There are many large and small islands and bays around Göcek, and they are all so beautiful that you can’t get enough of them!

The program of this trip, which will last approximately 70 nautical miles for 7 days, will be as follows. Of course, we can make minor changes according to the weather, sea conditions and your preferences.

There are six marinas in the town, which are large and important for international yachting. The most important feature of the town is that it contains islands and bays located in an extremely sheltered and wide gulf. As a natural result of these, it has the secret power of an advanced yacht trip.

Turuncpinari Bay

Day 1

Our guests who enter the boat on Saturday afternoon will be given a technical briefing about the boat, the basic conditions of life on the boat will be explained, and then, if you have not preferred full board service, we will shop for your food and drinks from the market in the marina and place them on the boat. We will depart around 17:00 in the evening and go to Turunç Pınarı Bay, which is 1 hour away. This special bay, which has no access by land, is like an oasis where mountains and sea meet.

Gemiler Island

Day 2

We will wake up early in the morning and go to Butterfly Valley, a 1st degree protected area, 2 hours away, to have breakfast. After having breakfast on our boat in the valley, which is a true natural wonder, we will have time until noon to swim and explore the valley. When you go into the valley in spring, you can see the Tiger Butterflies (Euplagia quadripunctaria), which gave its name to this place. In the afternoon, we will go to Ölüdeniz, the tourism face of Turkey. After our swimming and lunch break here, we will visit St. Patrick’s Island, also known as Gemiler Island. We will anchor at Nicholas. The crystal blue sea on the island in A.D. You will love the magnificent sunset views and the church ruins from the early Christianity and Byzantine Empire dating back to the 5th-11th centuries!

Hamam Bay

Day 3

After breakfast, we will cruise across Fethiye Bay for 3 hours (with sailing, of course, if the wind is suitable!) and then we will arrive at Ağa Port, which is the overnight stop for the boats making long journeys in the bay. There are beautiful paths for walking in the bay, which has clear water due to its connection to the open sea at the far end of the bay. In the afternoon, we will visit the beautiful bays on our way and go to Hamam Bay, one of the most famous of Göcek bays. The ruins of the Byzantine monastery and Cleopatra bath are waiting for us in the bay. You can walk to the ancient city of Lydae, which you can reach with a half-hour walk, or surrender yourself to the blue waters where Cleopatra once took her beauty bath.

Gomun Bay

Day 4

Since we are now in the inner bays of Göcek, we can act as we wish and after breakfast, visit the bays such as Göbün Bay, where there is a nice restaurant, rock tombs and ancient ruins, Domuz Island with a wonderful view and sea, Kille Bübü with a sandy beach and church ruins, and then spend the night in Mavi. We will go to Taşyaka (Bedri Rahmi) bay, where Bedri Rahmi Eyüpoğlu and his friends were very impressed in the 70s, when the dream of traveling began.

Tersane Bay

Day 5

Today, we will visit Tersane Island, the largest island in the Gulf of Fethiye, and visit the ruins of old Greek settlements and shipyards abandoned after the population exchange. Then, we will visit Yavansu Bay, which looks like a different world with its rich underwater world, calmness and clarity, and go to bed in the evening, the most famous of the Gocek bays. We will anchor at Sarsala Bay, which has a wide sandy beach and is surrounded by tall pine forests.

Boynuzbuku

Day 6

After breakfast, we will have a pleasant cruise and go to Yassıcalar, which consists of many large and small islands, which is the symbol of Göcek bays in all catalogues. Since you will probably want to spend more time in this natural wonder, in the afternoon we will visit the nearby bays of Boynız Bükü and Kargılık and spend the night on the island of Göcek, which makes Göcek such a popular marina.

Katranci Island

Day 7

On our last day, we will stop by the beautiful Katrancı Island and Kızıl Island on our way to Fethiye port and enter the marina around 17:00 in the evening. After an evening enjoying the nightlife at the world-famous Fethiye Fish Market, you can stay on our boat until 09:00 the next day.
